There are many places on the web to discuss fishing, and even quite a few about fly fishing, but this one is dedicated to flyfishing in the great state of Colorado. Share your stories, your questions, your experiences and anything else related to flyfishing in Colorado.
We do allow posts from vendors, suppliers, guides, etc., but we ask that you avoid spamming our community. Please keep your product or service messages within the context of the discussion. For instance, during a discussion of different types of fly reels, it is ok to mention one that you make or sell, but you should not send repeated or unrelated messages regarding your product or service. You may also post product and service announcements in the Vendor forum under Practical Considerations.
Feelings can run high in regard to a sport such as ours that can raise such passion, but please remember, the other people on the board are human beings too. If a message offends you, take a little time before responding, if somebody disagrees with you, give them the space to be wrong. Spirited discussions are fine, flame wars will be cut short.
Remember, I own this board, and I am the absolute dictator of what is allowable and not allowable. I'm pretty reasonable, but I do reserve the right remove messages or boot your sorry butt right off if necessary. That probably sounds blunt, but I'd rather not be misunderstood. Don't run afoul of the benign dictator.
Tight lines and have fun,
Michael
